NTEU San Diego President Malcolm Gettmann to Discuss Real Impact of Partial Shutdown of Government

Malcolm Gettmann, president of the San Diego chapter of the National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU), will hold a news conference on Monday Januarty 21, 2019, to discuss continuing impacts to employees and taxpayers in the longest shutdown in history..

Closing operations of the Government which produce over 93 % of all government revenue is snot the way to operate . If you ran a business and closed your accounts receivable and collections down, you would likely have your business fail. Not funding the IRS and other revenue producing functions of Government ,fails the American Taxpayer.

NTEU is calling on Congress to stop the shutdown and reverse that trend and provide more resources to this critical agency.

Event: News conference and Rally on the Impact to Federal Employees and Taxpayers.

Date: January 21, 2019
